WHY RUSSELL'S CUSTOMS?
One thing I learned as a TIG welder is you can always improve: use better materials, tweak your technique, improvise a better solution. My airsoft work is no different. I've always built these guns to the best of my knowledge, but better parts or new innovations happen as time rolls on. The parts list I use now has evolved from 1 year ago, and the year before that. I'll find better parts and more durable options and I offer my customers to send their guns in for updates. Just cover the parts, no charge for labor.
MEET YOUR TECHNICIAN
My name is Clint Russell. By trade I’m a UA Union Journeyman Welder and Pipe Fitter. Been perfecting my trade for 16 years: from welding stainless at the Tesla and Samsung to brazing medical gas systems inside hospitals, it’s a craft that teaches critical attention to detail and you’re only as good as your last weld. That same ethic translates to airsoft tech work.

I’ve been playing airsoft close to 10 years In that time a lot has changed: two big ones are brushless motors and premium ETUs. AEGs used to be hot garbage: slow, hot motor grips, poor battery life, mechanical triggers, so HPA created a better system, and it made AEGs look like a dog’s breakfast.
With the help of brushless motors and higher voltage, the gap between HPA and AEG is now a matter of preference instead of performance.
